The Woke Waste Scandal: How Your Taxpayer Money is Being Sent Abroad and Wasted at Home

It’s time to talk about a national scandal re your taxpayer money that has been unfolding for decades. British taxpayers are footing the bill for what can only be described as an epidemic of government-sponsored fraud, corruption, and waste. Billions of pounds are being sent abroad to fund pointless "woke" projects, while pressing issues at home are ignored.

What you are about to read is just the tip of the iceberg.

Your Taxpayer Money, Their Projects: A Global Tour of Waste

Let's take a closer look at where your hard-earned taxpayer money is going. The following examples represent a fraction of the questionable spending sanctioned by the government.

  • £1.4 billion to refurbish the High Commission in Nairobi, including replacing lighting and fire alarms.
  • £15.5 million to set up "climate smart" jobs in Uganda.
  • £133,000 to monitor the Afghan Taliban's narcotics ban.
  • £50,000 to study the health of shrimp in Bangladesh.
  • £25,000,000 to support "green urban growth" in Somalia.

The case of Somalia is particularly jarring. Recently, the country's president reported a death toll of at least 100 after devastating car bombs hit the capital, Mogadishu. One must ask: what is £25 million for "green growth" going to achieve in a nation facing such severe security crises? Are they expected to fight jihadis by planting trees?

The list continues:

  • 15 brand new electric Porsche sports cars sent to Albania for their prison service.
  • £264,000 spent on "combating disinformation" in Ethiopia.
  • £8.6 million supporting renewable energy in Indonesia.
  • £22,500,000 on "green growth" in the barren, mountainous region of Nepal.

The Absurdity Closer to Home: Questionable Domestic Spending

While this money flows overseas, the situation at home is dire. Pensioners struggle with heating costs, young families can't afford to have children, and many are trapped in substandard housing. Yet, the government continues to fund absurd academic studies and public sector excess.

Consider these examples of domestic spending:

  • £200,000 researching the environmental impact of the Star Wars franchise.
  • £194,000 funding a study on "gay pig masculinities," resulting in a film, Oink, deemed too graphic for public viewing.
  • £407,000 researching "gender-based and racialized violence in Ecuador."
  • £311,000 for the University of Leicester to research "indigenous film ecologies."
  • £842,000 to investigate "the Europe that gay porn built."

The public sector is not immune to this waste:

  • Almost £20,000,000 for Transport for London to move offices.
  • £60,000,000 to ensure TfL staff can get to work during transport disruptions—the very disruptions they are often responsible for causing.
  • £1 billion for asylum accommodation and support in the Northwest, while towns like Bolton, Blackpool, and Bootle see little of that investment for local regeneration.
  • £73,000,000 for NHS translation services, funding healthcare for those who haven't learned the language, while British citizens wait for treatment.

The Black Hole of Public Funding

The most shocking aspect is how this money vanishes without a trace. The NHS received a £10.6 billion funding boost, which has now been reportedly "totally swallowed up" with no tangible results. Where did it go?

One telling example is the NHS Bradford hiring a 'Genetic Risk Equity Midwife' on a £40,000-a-year salary to deal with genetic disorders associated with 'close-relative marriage'. (I take it that means challenges that arise from marrying cousins).

Conclusion: It's Time to Demand Accountability

This government claims Britain is broke and insists taxes must rise, all while our money is shipped off to fund unnecessary projects across the globe. This is not just poor management; it is a betrayal of the British taxpayer.

We must demand an immediate end to sending money abroad for these unbelievably stupid and pointless projects. It is time to prioritise the needs of British citizens and hold our leaders accountable for this national scandal. The spending must stop.
